Are you in need of a quality graphic designer? Are you seeking someone who has experience? Well then you should definitely choose Luis Garcia. He has created approximately five thousand designs, is the publisher of Hammock Island Magazine, and has a long list of satisfied customers.
What are Mr. Garcia’s credentials? He has an accomplished and diverse portfolio with experience in many areas. He worked and managed the Publix bakery in his hometown of Miami Shores. His first job was selling newspaper subscriptions, then after high school he joined the Marines. He earned a degree in computer science, and also attended Miami-Dade College before transferring to FSU after two years.
How did Mr. Garcia become the graphic designer he is today? He began at the bottom and through hard work, rose to the top. He began by designing website pages and coding and then progressed to web-headers and little banners. He continued to work hard and improved from that point on. Graphic Designing is more than a full-time job for him. Now he is a publisher of Hammock Island Magazine, Floyd Virginia Magazine, and does designs for other entrepreneurs.
What exactly does a graphic designer do? A graphic designer can make banners for websites, design website pages, and/or creates designs for other entrepreneurs. His suggestion to any young graphic designer is to set up a bank account, then get a merchant account, and to be ready to accept payments.
In his free time, Mr. Garcia likes to go to the beach and spend time with his wife, two daughters and son. Of course design is his passion and he also likes to see satisfied customers. He believes the difference between owning and working a business is, “You either build your dream, or get paid to build someone else’s”.
